Our mission is to offer people the opportunity to improve their quality of life by providing support and care which promotes greater independence.

In support to our mission and vision, CHOICES firmly believes in the following values:

• All people, regardless of ability, disability and illness, have an opinion about what happens to them in their lives.
• For truly needs led services to be delivered, we must strive to learn what the opinions and priorities of those who use our services are.
• Opinions and priorities are expressed in a variety of ways and not always verbally. For many, opinions are expressed through behaviour, facial expressions and vocalisation.
• All individuals must be seen as ‘people first' and be provided with opportunity and where necessary appropriate levels of support to exercise autonomy, choice, citizenship, privileges and freedoms.
