CHOICES CARE has a dedicated team that can provide information and advice about entitlement to welfare benefits, other allowances, grants and general financial matters.

The Benefits and Housing Function of the Service Development Team aims to:

• Provide information to the people we support, their carers, families and other advisers on social security benefit entitlement and services.
• Encourage take-up of benefit entitlement through the provision of information, advice and staff training covering the following:
• Income Support, Pension Credits, Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, Social Fund, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit
