A strong learning and development culture is critical in supporting the growth of our organisation.

The aim of our Learning and Development Team is to provide structured learning, education and development opportunities which are beyond minimum requirements and enable our staff and managers to provide the highest quality of support and care to the people who use our services.

Our commitment to developing our people to maximise their skills and potential is endorsed by CHOICES CARE's achievement of the Investor in People Award in January 2009.

 

What can we offer?

We offer a comprehensive induction programme for new staff. This programme is also matched to the needs of staff working in different services, to ensure they are trained in the kind of support required within their workplace.

All staff receive regular supervision where individual training needs are identified. Staff are encouraged to show initiative and to propose development that will contribute to their success and that of CHOICES CARE.
