Glasgow & North Ayrshire

Services in the Glasgow and North Ayrshire region of CHOICES CARE provide support within supported living services, to people who live in their own tenancies and in a purpose built respite care facility.

Most of the people who use our services have Learning Disabilities.  However, we also support clients in the area with Autism Spectrum Disorder and people who have had a history of homelessness. 

Within Taigh Mòr, a respite facility commissioned and funded by North Ayrshire Council, we can support up to 8 guests at a time.  Adults who use this facility have Learning Disabilities and associated difficulties such as complex physical disabilities and chronic and enduring health conditions.

The range of services we provide changes according to the individual needs of the people we support.

All of our services are designed to provide the opportunity for independent living while offering care and support to ensure that the people who use our services enjoy happy, healthy, and full lives within the community.  In order to facilitate this service users have commissioned packages of support to reflect individual need.  We therefore support  people from 10 hours per week up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
