Company Profile

CHOICES CARE was founded in 1995, to provide direct support for people with learning disabilities. The first services were opened in West Lothian in 1995. In 2006, a new board of directors was appointed following a management buy-out. Since then, the CHOICES GROUP has come a long way and the organisation has grown to:

• be the provider of choice for 1000 individuals with learning disabilities in both Scotland and England
• employ nearly 1500 people
• operate 266 services to support those individuals and deliver nearly 9,000 hours of care at home per week
• become one of the biggest independent provider of Domiciliary Care services in Scotland

We have experience supporting people with a variety of care and support needs including:

• People with Learning Disabilities including those with a history of homelessness.
• People with Physical Disabilities
• People with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• People with Mental Ill Health
• People recently Discharged from Hospital
• Older People

We work in partnership with a variety of agencies that help us to develop and deliver the highest standard of care. We also work closely with statutory agencies such as the Care Commission, Scottish Social Services Council and 22 local councils in Scotland and England.
